Directions to and Hotels Near Holy Names University at 3500 Mountain Blvd., Oakland, CA 94619

Sign in and register at the first large building on the right (the Valley Center for the Performing Arts).  On-campus parking is available.

From San Francisco:  Take 80-E across the Bay Bridge.  Merge onto I-580 E towards CA-24/Hayward/Stockton.  Take 35^th Ave exit, and turn left at 35^th Ave.  Continue onto Redwood Road, and turn left at Mountain Boulevard.   Turn left again to stay on Mountain Boulevard.

From Sacramento:  Take I-80 W, and make a right onto I-680 S (signs are for Benicia/San Jose).  Take State Route 24 towards Oakland/Lafayette, and merge onto CA-24W.  Take the CA-13 S exit towards Hayward.  Take the Redwood Road exit towards Carson Street.  Merge onto Aliso Avenue, and turn left at Redwood Road.  Take the first left onto Mountain Boulevard, and turn left to stay on Mountain Boulevard until you reach Holy Names.

From Santa Rosa:  Take US-101 S/Redwood Highway.  Take Exit 451A for Francisco Boulevard towards Andersen Drive.  Keep left at the fork, and follow the signs for Francisco Boulevard E.  Keep left at the fork, and merge onto I-580 E.  Take the 35^th Avenue exit, and turn left at 35^th Avenue.  Continue onto Redwood Road, and turn left at Mountain Boulevard.  Turn left to stay on Mountain Boulevard until you reach Holy Names.

From San Jose:  Take I-880 N towards Oakland.  Take Exit 31A to merge onto I-238 S towards Castro Valley/Stockton/I-580, and take I-580W towards Oakland.  Take a slight right at CA-13N, and take the Carson Street exit towards Redwood Road.  Keep left at the fork, and follow the signs for Chabot Space and Science Center/Merritt College.  Merge onto Mountain Boulevard, and take a left at Redwood Road.  Take the first right onto Mountain Boulevard.

Taking Public Transportation/BART:  Exit BART at the Fruitvale BART station.  Take the 54 Bus from the BART station in the direction of Merritt College.  Depart at Redwood Road:  Mountain Boulevard (Lincoln Square).  Walk uphill on Redwood Road towards Mountain Boulevard, and turn right on Mountain Boulevard.  Turn left to stay on Mountain Boulevard.  The total walk time is about 10 minutes.
